ENCOURAGE USING THE TOILET INDEPENDENTLY
By the time your child is close to 4 years of age they have an idea of when they need to go to the toilet.
When your child uses the toilet on their own, make sure you praise them for doing so. You can have your own reward system.
E.g. they get a new book to read or they get a new toy to play with, teach them a new game or spend time doing some activity they enjoy.
After the initial few days, your child will automatically go to the toilet on their own despite the rewards.
*Parents are required to accompany their children throughout the activities
