GRADUATING FROM THE POTTY TO THE “BIG TOILET”
Now that your child is almost 4 they will be able to use the “big toilet”. Sometimes it might be a difficult task for them to climb onto it and often, if you aren’t around, they may not be able to hold on until you come along.
Take the time to explain to your child how they are “big” now and how they need to be “promoted” to use what mummy and daddy use.
You can even have a little stool they can use to reach the commode. Make sure that you teach them how to flush as well as the importance of washing their hands after they use the toilet! It’s solely up to you on how you’d like to arrange things and help them with the process.
Remember that even 4 year olds love to hear they’ve done something well; even if it is using the toilet!
*Parents are required to accompany their children throughout the activities
