PreNAN® is a food for special medical purposes to be used in premature and low birth weight infants.

PreNAN® provides adequate amounts of nutrients to cover the needs of rapidly growing premature or low birth weight infants with adequate protein and calorie density for growth. PreNAN® has an optimized Calcium to Phosphorus ratio.

Use only enclosed scoop, using more or less powder than indicated will either lead to dehydration or deprive your baby of proper nutrition. Do not change proportions without medical advice.

Breastmilk is best for babies and breastfeeding should continue for as long as possible. Before you decide to use an infant formula consult your health care professional for advice.

Contra-Indications:

PreNAN® is not suitable for use in infants with diagnosed cow’s milk protein allergy, lactose intolerance and metabolic congenital diseases such as galactosaemia / glucose-galactose malabsorption. Not intended for parenteral use.
